A big well done!

The Hedgehogs have loved having Taylor in their class this year.  He has worked hard, been kind to his friends, been helpful to the staff and generally been a fabulous Hedgehog.  Keep up the good work in Squirrels next year!

Good friends

Looking for a friend?  Then look no further than Lucas and James who have been such good friends to their classmates this year.  They have put others' needs first and understood that different people need different types of support.  Well done and thank you, lads!

Our new bakers!

Alfie, Jake, Emily, Olivia, Henry and Alfie have been learning how to bake bread.  After a visit from a real-life baker, they made the dough and then created different shaped rolls to eat.  I hope your families enjoy your baking!

Churning butter

TJ, Lexie, Poppy, Callum, Christian and Emily have learned how to make butter.  They started with cream and shook it, and shook it, and shook it, and ... after a very long time and a lot of shaking, they made some delicious butter.  Well done, folks!

Monet in the making!

Kaydon, Freddie, Chloeanne, Harry, Nicole, Belle, Alex and Harley have been looking carefully at pictures of Japanese water gardens and have used oil pastels to create their own versions.  They particularly enjoyed layering the different parts of the picture to build up these beautiful scenes.

Glad to have you with us!

Here are two people who have not been with us very long, but have each made a BIG impression!  Abigail is producing beautiful and interesting pieces of written work, while Ethan has shot through three different reading bands.  What a pair of superstars!

Public speaking

Leo and Josh have really impressed their class mates with their themed talks.  Leo used prompt cards so that he could talk to his audience and Josh included a video link.  Everyone agreed they were very engaging talks - well done, lads!
